Music Library
The Sourcetone Interactive Radio Music Library is populated with music from dozens of genres and sub-genres. Sourcetone takes great care to include music that will suit the needs of any listener. While many of the songs in the Sourcetone Library will be familiar to most listeners, we also make an effort to find uncommon songs that our listeners will find equally enjoyable.
The basic human and emotional element in every song will resonate differently with each listener. It is Sourcetone’s goal to provide each user with a listening experience that will enable them to discover new and exciting songs, rediscover forgotten favorites, and hear contemporary selections rich in emotion. A subset of the songs included in the SIR™ Music Library has been a part of the research being conducted at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Some other selections in our library have been provided and recommended by world-renowned composers that advise Sourcetone regularly. Every song has been classified using data collected from our rigorous research processes.
Our entire library is sourced from original CD, lossless file (FLAC, APE, WAV), or vinyl format. Sourcetone's streaming bitrate increases as technology and bandwidth allows, delivering the best possible sound quality to you.
Sourcetone would like to thank the countless artists, composers, and producers that are responsible for creating the music we stream. Their contributions to the ever-growing art of music inspire the Sourcetone team in our everyday pursuit of researching music-health.
