Steps in the Creation of Sourcetone Interactive Radio

Sourcetone Research Team - developing new numerical models and learning algorithms that improve the performance of the Music Classification System Technology® evaluative system based on newly collected data from the Sourcetone Research Team and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School - researching the effects of music on subjects across different ages and backgrounds using psychological and neural outcome measures at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.

Music Classification System Technology® (MCST™) Evaluative System Data Import - integrating data from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School research, the Sourcetone Research Team "trains" the MCST™ evaluative system to predict an emotional response from a given piece of music.

Sourcetone Interactive Radio (SIR™) Music Library - streaming songs across multiple genres. A subset of the SIR™ Music Library consists of songs that have been tested for their emotional qualities and neural effects at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Many other tracks have been recommended by our accomplished team of composers. Every song has been classified based on data collected from research-based testing processes.
